Salamander Energy are a FTSE 250 company that Tuckerman acted for in acquiring a floor at the Asticus Building at 21 Palmer Street in 2007 on the basis of a new ten year lease with a tenant break at five years. At the fifth year, Salamander decided to operate their break and Tuckerman were instructed to find alternative premises closer to the West End. In January 2012, Tuckerman agreed terms on behalf of Salamander Energy for the fourth floor at 25 Great Poulteney Street, arguably the finest office floor in Soho at the time. The fourth floor was arranged over 4,292 sq ft and a new ten year lease was granted with a tenant option to break after five years, whilst Salamander Energy were granted a rent free period of 13 months.
