Roland concentrates on property investment; rent reviews and
lease renewals; and office and retail agency (disposals and
acquisitions).
He joined Tuckerman in April 2009, from Peabody where he
assisted in the management of Peabody's extensive commercial
property portfolio.
He is a fully qualified member of the Royal Institution of
Chartered Surveyors and previously studied Estate Management at
London Southbank University. Prior to this, Roland studied History
of Art, with a strong emphasis on architectural history and
graduated with an MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art and a BA
(Hons) from the University of York. As part of his studies at the
Courtauld, Roland was awarded funding by Princeton University, USA
to mount an expedition to photograph the remains of a number of
ruined 10th century Georgian and Armenian churches in
Eastern Turkey (conveniently located in remote mountainous
villages!) for Princeton's photographic library, the Index of
Christian Art.
His interests include art and architecture, mountaineering,
fishing and shooting.
