Plans to replace the iconic New Scotland Yard, SW1, with six towers have been approved by Westminster.
They have given the go-head for the 14- to 20-storey towers to be built on the site of Metropolitan Police headquarters. The 1.7-acre project, Ten Broadway, is being developed by Northacre.
Ten Broadway will also include shops, three levels of offices, luxury basement spas and car parking.
It’s a great solution for the currently dead frontages facing Victoria Street and the redundant office space which was no longer fit-for-purpose.
It will create another large building site in Victoria of course, but as part of the renaissance of the area and particularly for this end of Victoria Street, it is a vital next step.
